House located in a Romanesque town in the Baix Empordà, with a haystack and a circle of

wall, with a surface area of 3,145 square meters, The property stands out for its rich history, which gives it a unique and special character The existing construction is located in the center of the plot and divides the plot transversally into two parts : south and north garden. The area of the north garden presents a series of buildings and auxiliary volumes that were attached to the wall during the 19th and 20th centuries. On the other hand, the south garden is structured with a French-style romantic composition, designed during the s. XIX. There are several species of trees such as palm trees, fir trees, cypresses and chestnut trees, and it also has a well and a pool of water. The edges of the plot contain an access fence to the farm, also from the 19th century and in a modernist style. It combines factory work with masonry and a wrought iron closure. The wall frames the eastern side of the plot and covers the gap between the garden and Hospital Street. The auxiliary buildings in the north garden have an agrarian function and date from the 20th century, except for the northernmost one, built during the 19th century. The walls are built with masonry and the roofs with precast concrete joists and a ceramic-based screed. These constructions present various structural pathologies. The original building possibly dates from the 7th century. The main farmhouse, as it has reached our days, dates from an 18th century construction, with a ground floor and two floors. Approximately it has an area per floor of 620m2. The vertical structure is made up of load-bearing masonry walls finished with natural lime mortar. The horizontal structure is formed on the first two floors by ceramic vaults. The second floor ceiling is formed by a unidirectional structure of wooden joists. Although the initial scheme is that of a basilica plan with three bays, two major later transformations were carried out: at the beginning of the s. In the XIX century a fourth bay was added, so that the building grew until it reached the wall; at the end of the s. In the XIX century, the lateral access volume from the south garden was added, with artificial stone details. Also during this last phase, various interior finishing elements were added, such as hydraulic pavements or interior decorative stuccos. The property stands out for being a unique piece in its surroundings. ideal to turn it into a boutique hotel or a private house, recovering all its essence and particularity
